Dear Family~
There is no greater happiness I have than being able to read the weekly email you send me. It is hard to describe the relief I feel each time I get to hear from home. I love you and appreciate you. Thank you. :)
...Elder Nelson was once asked the question as to why he lived the way he did and he said it was because he knew the Book of Mormon was true. Joseph Smith taught that the book of Mormon is the most correct of any book on the earth. Where there is truth there is power. And where there is truth, the Spirit is also. I hope [we] are able to feel of the joy and peace that the Spirit gives [us] as [we] read from the Book of Mormon. Sometimes it is difficult to recognize, but as [we] pray and ask Heavenly Father, I know [we] will know that He is there and that he is pleased with [us], and [our] faith in asking Him.
"By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another." --John 13:35
"Remember the worth of souls is great in the sight of God; For behold, the Lord your Redeemer suffered death in the flesh; wherefore, He suffered the pain of all men, that all men might repent and come unto Him. And He hath risen again from the dead, that He might bring all men unto Him, on conditions of repentance. And how great is His joy in the soul that repenteth! Wherefore, you are called to cry repentance unto this people. And if it so be that you should labor all your days in crying repentance unto this people, and bring, save it be one soul unto me, how great shall be your joy with Him in the kingdom of my Father! And now, if your joy will be great with one soul that you have brought unto me into the kingdom of my Father, how great will be your joy if you should bring many souls unto me!" --Doctrine & Covenants 18:10-16
I love each of you and hope you have a wonderful week.
I'll talk to you next week. :)
Love~
